What makes apex forge different

APEX FORGE is built around one simple idea:

Show up. Every hour. On the hour.

That might sound straightforward at first, but over 24 hours, it becomes something much bigger. FORGE is not just about speed, fitness, or how far you can run. It is about whether you can recover, reset, and return to the line when your body and mind are telling you to stop.

The Format

APEX FORGE is a 24-hour endurance event where participants complete a set distance every hour.

Each hour includes:

  • 3 laps
  • 6.81km total distance
  • A new start every hour, on the hour
  • A course direction change every 3 hours

If you complete the distance quickly, you earn more time to rest. If you take longer, your recovery window gets smaller. Either way, when the next hour begins, you need to be back at the Return Line.

The Real Challenge

The hardest part of FORGE is not just the distance.

It is the decision.

Every time you pass Basecamp, you are close enough to stop. You see the clock. You see your kit. You see other participants pushing through the same challenge. Then, when the hour comes around again, you have to make the choice to continue.

That repeated decision is what makes FORGE different.

Individual and Team Categories

Participants can take on APEX FORGE as individuals or as part of a team relay.

In the individual category, each participant completes all 3 laps every hour. You continue until you either fail to complete the distance within the hour or miss the next start.

In the team relay category, teams rotate runners each hour. One team member must be on the start line every hour, or the whole team is eliminated.

This creates a different type of challenge. Strategy matters. Communication matters. Recovery matters. Sometimes, going further means going together.

The Final Hour

The final hour is where everything comes together.

For individuals, the strongest performance in the final hour determines the APEX FORGE Champion.

For teams, the relay format ends. Everyone runs. No rotation. No hiding. Every remaining team member takes part and completes the final hour together.

It is not given. It is earned.

What to Bring

FORGE is a serious endurance challenge, so preparation matters. Participants should come ready with essential kit such as a headtorch, reflective gear, waterproof layers, hydration system, trail shoes, phone, portable battery, and emergency whistle.

Comfort items like a camping chair, warm layers, spare clothes, spare socks, anti-chafe cream, electrolytes, and familiar food can also make a big difference over 24 hours.

The goal is not just to start strong. It is to stay ready hour after hour.

Why FORGE Stands Out

APEX FORGE is designed to test more than fitness.

It tests:

  • Resilience
  • Discipline
  • Decision-making
  • Teamwork
  • Recovery
  • Mental strength

The format keeps participants close to Basecamp, close to support, and close to each other. It creates a shared challenge where everyone is facing the same question every hour:

Will you show up again?

That is what makes APEX FORGE different.

Ready to Take on the Challenge?

APEX FORGE is for those who want to test themselves in a format that is simple, brutal, tactical, and unforgettable.

Show up. Every hour. On the hour.
